Full membership: Restricted to those holding an appropriate professional dental qualification and those invited to full membership by the Committee by virtue of their standing and reputation in allied fields.

Associate members: Any person who has a professional interest in Forensic Odontology.

(If no BAFO reference is supplied, an application for membership may be accepted by the BAFO Committee upon provision of a full curriculum vitae with two appropriate professional/academic references). Undergraduate student applicants must include one reference on the teaching staff of the student applicant's dental school.
